Club Rules

1. Any EA officer, bailiff, club officer, or other club member has the right to request to see a valid Membership card and/or EA license on production of membership authority.
2. No bloodworm/joker to be used in any fashion.
3. Groundbait to be used in limited quantity (Maximum 1kg)
4. Nuts, peas, boilies, trout pellets are NOT permitted, and are not to be taken poolside.
5. In the interest of other anglers, floating baits are NOT allowed to be loose fed. Floating baits can be used on the hook only.
6. Barbless hooks only, Maximum size 10.
7. All ledgering weights and feeders must be free running (no fixed rigs)
8. All hook links should be 4 inches or more.
9. NO braided line, OR HOOKLINKS
10. NO fishing in restricted areas.
11. Fishing from designated pegs only.
12. NO walking from peg to peg holding fish.
13. You must remove all lines from the water if leaving your peg.
14. Do not use dry towels to hold fish.
15. An unhooking mat is preferred if not unhooking fish in a landing net off the ground. No putting fish onto gravel/hard banks to unhook please.
16. All keepnets to be emptied after 5 hours maximum. 50lb net limit. No fish over 4 lbs to be retained in keepnets, they must be returned to the water.
17. Anglers fishing on Day Tickets must be fully conversant with the Club Rules as posted.
18. NO keepnets to be used by Day Ticket holders.
19. NO Day Tickets on the Pump House (Members only Pool)
20. No one under the age of 16 is allowed to fish without adult supervision.
21. Adults supervising children under 12 should have their own Day Ticket if not a Member.
22. Children from 13 to 16 should have their own Day Ticket if not Members.
23. Supervising Adults are limited to a maximum 2 children per Adult.
24. Any angler, either as Members or on a Day Ticket, has a duty of care to advise others of any medical conditions that may affect your safety whilst fishing.
25. Fishing is DAWN to DUSK ONLY. Night fishing is not allowed.
26. NO FIRES allowed (authorised bank clearance/maintenance only)
27. NO DOGS allowed on the banks
28. DO NOT LEAVE LITTER, take it home with you.
29. Membership runs from 1^st January to 31^st December each Year.
30. The Red Lion Piscators Committee reserves the right to change these rules at any time.
